The most vivid memories I have of my childhood were the many days I spent painting, sculpting and drawing. My immigration from Ukraine to the Unites States changed many things for me. I am thankful for the opportunity to do something I love and be able to express myself in a way that is, I hope,
inspirational to others.
Inspired by Art Nouveau and amazed by endlessness beauty and variety of Orchids, I developed unique style and technique, which gave me ability to share my vision and feelings with a viewers. I named my style “Imaginary Impressionism”. I unite line work of figures, brush strokes, colors and nature in one single form of harmony and beauty. Most of my paintings are done in oil, which is my favorite medium.
My artwork found home in many private and corporate collections in USA, Germany and Israel.
In November of 2009 my artwork has been published in the Best of America Oil Artists, Volume II book. Also my art was listed in the International Dictionary of Artists 2011. In 2012 and 2014 my artwork was published in the series of books Living Artists of Today: Contemporary Art. Vol. II and Living Artists of Today: Contemporary Art. Vol. III.
In May of 2017 I had an Interview with the editor of the VoyageChicago Magazine. The magazine that is write about the hidden gems of Chicago and the surrounding areas.
